On Wednesday 17/07/2013 His Majesty King Abdullah 2 Bin Al-Hussein inaugurated the DISI Project whereas this Project shall contribute in a sustainable source of water to the capital and to the rest of the governorates in the kingdom, by supporting economic and social development within an integrated system to enhance the water shortage issue in Jordan. In the inauguration ceremony which was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein the President of the Royal Commission for the water sector, The Chief of Royal Court H.E Dr. Fayez Tarawneh, The Minister of Water and Irrigation and Minister of Agriculture H.E Dr. Hazem Nasser and many other Ministers and governmental officials; His Majesty the start button to run one of the conveyance pumps in Madaba Pump Station which supplies water to Dabouk reservoir. This event marks a remarkable achievement in the history of Jordan in many aspects which made us, as GAMA, feel privileged and extremely proud.
